Chinese medicine.

Some of the effects of betel nuts include killing worms, eliminating Qi stagnation, promoting circulation of Qi, alleviating water retention, stopping malaria.
It’s used to treat conditions such as tapeworm disease, roundworm disease fasciolopsiasis, pain caused by parasitic diseases in the stomach/intestines, food retention in the stomach,
diarrhea, tenesmus, edema and malaria.
